Linear Magnetic Hall Sensor Module
Hall switch integrated circuit using hall effect principle, USES the semiconductor integrated technology manufacturing magnetic susceptibility of the circuit, it is by the voltage regulator, hall voltage generator, differential amplifier, Schmidt triggers, temperature compensation and the open collector output stage circuit composed of magnetic sensitive sensor circuit, its input for the magnetic induction intensity, the output is a digital voltage signal.
Features:
– Has the signal output instructions.
– Single signal output.
– Effective signal output for low level.
– Sensitivity adjustable pure tone ().
– Have the field cuts have signal output
– Circuit boards output switch quantity!
Construction:
the sensor has 3 main components on its circuit board. First, the sensor unit at the front of the module which measures the area physically and sends an analog signal to the second unit, the amplifier. The amplifier amplifies the signal, according to the resistant value of the potentiometer, and sends the signal to the analog output of the module. The third component is a comparator which switches the digital out and the LED if the signal falls under a specific value.
You can control the sensitivity by adjusting the potentiometer.
Please notice: The signal will be inverted; that means that if you measure a high value, it is shown as a low voltage value at the analog output.
Application:
Linear Magnetic Hall Sensor is used to calculate (and therefore adjust or stabilize) the speed of a mechanism in rotation or as a proximity switch. In this sensor, point intensity 0 should correspond approximately to + 2.5V with an excursion to the 0V and + 5V in step 1024 if fed precisely to 5V. Despite this sensor has a linear response, however, it is not suitable to be used as a measurement of intensity of a magnetic field due to low precision. The value of zeroLevel corresponds to 0 and goes calibration proceeds launching the sketch with the sensor away from magnets and making sure that the output value indicates precisely 0. In my case I used a value of 537 but may vary slightly from sensor to sensor.
