تراياك من سلسلة BTA يستخدم للتحكم بعبورالتيار المتناوب بفعالية وبتيار rms يصل الى 16 امبير وفولتية معاكسة تصل الى 600 فولت، ويتميز بمقاومته للتغير المفاجئ بالفولطية dv/dt ، وقدرته العالية على التحمل الحراري ولذلك لا يتطلب دائرة حماية (سنبر سيركت), يستخدم في العديد من التطبيقات، مثل السيطرة على الإضاءة والسيطرة على المحركات الكهربائية. كما أنه يمكن استخدامه في أجهزة التحكم مثل الأفران، والمكيفات الهوائية، والمروحيات، وأجهزة التدفئة والتهوية.

The BTA16-800BWRG is a 3-pin Snubberless Insulated TRIAC for general purpose AC switching and can be used as ON/OFF function. The BTA series TRIAC provides voltage insulated tab by using an internal ceramic pad.
